RUSH was my generation's Radiohead.

Radiohead has never come close to approaching the phenomenon that was Rush in their prime.

Yeah, I remember when I saw them on the Snakes & Arrows tour, in the row in front of me was a dad who brought his two teenage sons with him. Before the show, they were making several snarky remarks about this "geezer act" their dad dragged them to see. After the show, they were so floored, they couldn't even attempt to fake downplaying the excitement to their dad, and instead were simultaneously apologizing and thanking him profusely. One of my favorite bonding moments I've seen at a concert

Saw them in 1979 with Pat Travers in Jacksonville. A new band on the scene opened up for them (Molly Hatchet) who turned out to be pretty good themselves. I think I paid $8 for the ticket. What a deal.

I like the uniqueness of his voice. It’s not like he’s out of pitch.

I don’t understand the hate some of you baws give towards Rush. Red Barchetta is an absolute masterpiece...

I really like the early Rush albums. Saw them three times in the late 70's and they were great. They kind of lost me when they Geddy's synthesizers started taking over the songs.

All the World's a Stage is one of the best live albums ever.

Those 70's and early 80's concerts were so badass.

I bet this happens a few times, every time they play. Their live show is so amazing and to think, there's just three dudes up there creating that wall of sound

Sadly, I don't know if we will ever seen them do a proper tour again...but, I think that has been said before...
