Rush killed it tonight

Despite all the love they have gotten in the past few years with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & documentary I still think they are criminally underrated. Some of the most amazing musicians I have ever seen. I don't know how they still do what they do for over 3 hours night after night all over the age of 60.

Just wish SKC had better acoustics. My taste in the sound , mainly the overall loudness, is not what it use to be. I find the music to be louder than it ever has to be at all the SKC shows. Left my earplugs at home

Im much more suited for small or outdoor venues.

That said the show was good. Wish I wasnt the DD though

It absolutely sounded like garbage. Might be the worst I have ever heard. Ruined what otherwise was an incredible performance.

I took my 14 year old daughter. She really isn't a Rush fan, but a fan of all music. She plays the drums in her school band.

I thought the opening 3 songs were the best live performance I've ever seen (I'm 48).

She told me after the concert that she only knew 2 of the songs they played, but she was either standing or sitting on the edge of her seat the entire time. She loved it.

Had to buy her a poster.

She especially liked the fact that Neil Peart plays bells and chimes. Her school includes those instruments as part of percussion. She said she never thought a real professional drummer would play those things. Gave her a new appreciation and she is fired up for HS band.

Agreed. The sound made the show damn-near a ripoff. It was like being at a Ted Nugent concert in 1979 at the Centroplex. A High frequency feedback ear blood bath.

I liked Camera Eye and Xanadu the most.And Working Man of course, because that is RUSH, three goofy Canadian kids that made it big. Not an oz of arrogance or PR about them, just three guys who love to play and are happy you came along for the ride. I personally enjoyed the show 2 years ago much more, where they played Moving Pictures chronologically for half the show. But it seemed to me that their goal was to play what made THEM happy, and their audience loved it when they played a few more "deep" tracks. The audience definitely seemed to enjoy the 2112 stuff most.

This is probably the last real tour they will ever do. It's probably best that I retire with them, my ears can't take arena shows any more. The smaller venues/acts are where it's at for me. I walked out of Sufjan Stevens a month ago at The Saenger feeling like a million bucks. This felt more like an arse-kicking.

The concert was great, but it was not clicking on all cylinders until the second set.One or two of the songs from Clockwork Angels should have been eliminated and replaced by better songs later in the set. Some great replacements would have been: Ghost of a chance, Red Barchetta, Trees, or at least one song from Presto. Still was a great experience, as all three musicians sounded great. Neil Is GOAT.

The beginning dragged on a bit. I was very disappointed they did not play red barchetta or limelight. Would have loved to hear the trees, but knew it was a long shot. 2nd half was amazing, Xanadu and Neil's solo were incredible. Great show.
