Who says we can't have nice things?!

I saw a promo for the concert on the College Drive/I-10 billboard yesterday, and when I got home I couldn't find anything online about it... either locally, on Ticketmaster, or on his official website.

I thought it was a mistake!

Actually, it's the River Center Theater. What a fricking DUMP.

I'd love to see RP, but I'm not doing it at the RCTheater.

It's not the Sanger or Mahalia Jackson by any means, but it's a serviceable venue with plenty of good seats.

You sound miserable.

I would go see my favorite artists in someone's unfinished basement. Who cares where it is?

Agree with BigB, I'll be there, probably Shreveport too.

I was miserable this past Saturday night sitting in those seats. The rows are 50+ seats wide without aisles to separate. I'm too old to be that uncomfortable anymore.

Does he usually sing any Led Zeppelin songs on tour? Also, how do you do the presale on ticketmaster?

Yes. He will do several Zeppelin songs but don't expect them to sound exactly like the Zeppelin version.

I hope it won't be too expensive. I'd love to be able to afford to go.

He'll do a few but it'll be different. I saw him and Allison Kraus do In the Mood, Black Country Woman, and the Battle of Evermore at Bonaroo 2008.

Very blues-ey and R&B like. One of my favorite performances of all time. The grab bag of party favors we had for that weekend didn't hurt either.
