He was scheduled for Jackson last night, BR tonight (Thur), and then Friday night in Shreveport.
I hope they can make it from BR to Shreveport in time. The roads are treacherous, and even I-49 is closed for water in at least one spot.

I'll be going from Covington to the show weather won't be in any of our favors I am afraid. Shreveport will be especially bad.
Here's to everyone getting there and back safe!

"My Big Love for you, My Big Love, for you my Big, My Big, My Big"
I bet he won't play that song. That's my favorite Plant solo song.
"Shining on" from some other album (probably got the title wrong I also love.

I just got back home (greater New Orleans)--drove through some hell rain on the way home!!
They were fantastic. The Spaceshifters are a talented group. His subtle drops of old Zep lines into blues numbers and new renditions of older Zep tunes is fantastic. I much preferred his modern arrangements of the Zep stuff as opposed to him just regurgitating the old stuff verbatim. He put a good bit of work into that.
The new Spaceshifters stuff is also really good--bluesy yet groovy. They brought out an upright bass and acoustic guitars a few times.
They did a nice version of "Rain Song"--an acoustic version with keys and light drums.
The first encore was a quasi acoustic version of "I'm in the mood"...and it was great. The second encore song was a refreshed version of "Rock and Roll" which I actually liked better than the original.
...and he can still sing like a mofo for a 70 year old!!
I saw them at Mahalia Jackson Theater a couple years ago and I liked this show better.

I've seen Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger recently and was amazed how great they still sound. My expectations were low for tonight because I always heard Plant couldn't hit the notes anymore. That's why he would never do a Zeppelin reunion tour. After watching his Jazz Fest performance I agreed. I was wrong. He was on point tonight. He sounded great, he must really enjoy what he is doing now. There were times tonight I was amazed. If I didn't hate driving so much I would go see him again tomorrow in Shreveport. Worth every penny.

Great show. Very pleased except the River Center sucks at bar service.

I was truly impressed with how much better as a band the spaceshifters have become. They were great on their last tour but they are really something now, jamming grooving just making nice music.
I loved the show, only re do I didn't like that much was communication breakdown it sounded good and different but compared to the original I just wasn't drawn to it.
The rain song was awesome, I am leaving at lunch for Shreveport once I confirm it's no cancelled due to flooding.

Municipal's Facebook page says the Shreveport show tonight is a go and has pics of the trucks and gear that arrived.
