Why is Porno for Pyros on that list?

Assuming the double negative wasn't intentional...
Someone posted a "Do not Never apply for these jobs list"...
Number 1 was working for a record store.
Number 2, 3, and 4 had to do with buying albums.
Even Musical Instrument stores are seeing the shite end of this deal - and I hate that, but playing music is turning into the visual art business. My best guess is that it's going to get much worse.

I agree with everything except Bonnie Raitt

The Eagles and STP kinda surprise me from a sales standpoint. I understand that lots of people don't like them but I would figure that they wouldn't have much trouble moving their albums.

but what's the problem with The Grifters or Men at work for that matter?

The Grifters were a bad arse 90's band out of Memphis... Blues/Noise/Rock...
I can understand being on this list, due to limited sell on value...
Get Out Of That Spaceship and Fight Like a Man
Rats
Last Man Alive
Spaced Out

So albums from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80, 90s, and 00s don't sell well? How are they even in business?

I mean, they tour a lot and he's making a shite ton of money so it's working out great for him. He used to play bass for Pat Green and actually left Pat for the Bodeans.
A shite ton of money, I doubt it. Besides the outside fest gigs I doubt they're playing in front of more than a couple hundred people a night if that. Since Sammy left it should just be called the Kurt Neumann Band but I suppose then nobody would show up.

He is. Regardless of what your opinion is.

Like how much money? I'm not mad, I was just thinking that a Bodeans tour at this point would be not much more than a break even proposition. I'm actually from Waukesha and it was pretty awesome when Love and Hope and Sex and Dreams hit. I heard they came out with a new album in June and they played here at Summerfest but there hasn't been a buzz around here at all.
