Recommendations re: country music similar to Ryan Bingham Southside of Heaven

Other than Patsy Cline, I have never listened and am not very familiar with country music. My brother linked me to Ryan Bingham "Southside of Heaven" (yes, I know it is old) and I really like the song.
Would you mind recommending similar songs? My brother also linked me to Old Crow Medicine Show Wagon Wheel (I used to call them Old Blow Medicine Show when he would listen to them). I liked it, but didn't like anything else by them.
Any other suggestions?

That entire first album of Bingham's is in a category of it's own. I started listening to Hayes Carll around the same time I started listening to Ryan Bingham.

That's not on his first album. It is on 2-5 though. I believe the Mescalito version is where it finally got right.
