Each year Charlie provides lunch and puts on a show for his fan club. He just calls on people as they raise their hand and plays any song they request (if he remembers it). After that, he sits in a room and takes pictures and signs everything while chatting it up until everyone is content.

Truly underrated musician. Session musician quality guitarist. There is a display on him in the Country Music Hall of Fame...crazy impressive what all he played on back in the day.

Man, I was watching Leonard Cohen Live at the Isle of Wight one night and Charlie Daniels is playing bass in his band. it was early 70s. dude was so young. looked about 20 years old.
