What I love is my thread may get one reply every six months, but Souljah gets almost a page worth in a few hours.

I may be packing it in on the Phap Board. There comes a time when you just have to accept that you're "on the wrong side of history" as Slo likes to say, and that everything you've fought for is gone with the wind.

You don't need to pack it in on anything. Just because people aren't posting in response doesn't mean they aren't looking.

Add: There are 6500 people on TD right now. 6000 are lurkers.

Thanks for linking to that topic.

Do you know which of the songs on “Chrome, Smoke & BBQ: The ZZ Top Box" are by the Moving Sidewalks?

Can – Mushroom

Got turned on to this band when I read John Lydon't book. They've got lots of great songs.

I've actually heard this song quite a bit on KLSU over the last several years.

Thanks for the turn on!

I guess that In A Gadda Da Vida was too obvious to list.

For the Beatles, gimme Tomorrow Never Knows.

This is probably my favorite version of this song. The first few minutes are announcements including the infamous "Brown Acid" announcement. And it has a different intro than the studio version.

My favorite Canned Heat tune:
