Looking forward to seeing The Mulligan Brothers on Sunday. I've seen them a couple of times now and I've really enjoyed them each time.

seems like the Mulligan Brothers are getting some momentum going after Jazz Fest and now this. We have them at M+W on June 20th as well.

Very deserving. They're really good. They actually played this same festival last year which was the first place I ever heard them.

May have to come check them out at M+W as well.

I had a great time here last year. I'll definitely be stopping by.

It is a nicely put together festival. Yeah, I know it's just to promote tourism and debunk the whole myth of not eating oysters in "non-r" months but there's some pretty good food and music out there. What's not to like?

I was going to say the location, but it looks like they moved it to the grassy area closer to the river. Being on that black top in the middle of the day was miserable.

Last year was the first year I went. Maybe that was the first year in the new location because it definitely wasn't on black top. Where was it at before?

Didn't they just have an Oyster festival on Freret a few months ago? I remember both New Orleans Suspects and Raw Oyster Cult played.

It used to be in the big parking lot on North Peters where they have the Sugar Bowl fan stuff usually.

I went to the first couple ones and they were in the big parking lots on N Peters. Smart move to put it in Woldenberg Park.

Oyster fest end of May beginning of June? No thanks. Festivals have gotten out of control.

I'm willing to bet I hit more festivals than you. I'm just not a fan of this one.

IDGAF if you go to a festival every fricking weekend.

You're bitching for the sake of bitching.
