I listened to the abridged version on accident. Thought it was ok. Listening to the normal version with all the interviews at the beginning and now understanding what the album is about....wow. It brought this album to another level. Really liking it.

It's kinda americana.

The title track is fantastic and my other favorite on here is Waiting In The Car Outside.

Comment from YouTube on “Quiet Town”

I went to high school with Brandon. He was in our class and worked at taco time. When the train killed Raymond and Tiffany it was devastating. I love the respect and the story Brandon told. Their story. Nephi was a great place to grow up!! Great little town

Just listened to it all the way through. I think that’s the way it was intended to be listened too. It’s basically a concept album regarding rural America. Like another poster mentioned and I agree it strangely falls in the Americana category.

I liked it but I don’t see me throwing on the album during a party and I don’t I see too many radio hits coming out of this one.

This album's pretty great. It may be one of the best of 2021 for me and it came out of nowhere...not at all what I was expecting to hear.

yeah it’s definitely and play through by yourself type album. Which I’m all for. Quiet Town could make some radio plays

The writing has a Bruce Springsteen early albums vibe to me.

For EDM it's surprisingly enjoyable.

I know Brandon is an Americana fan and they’ve taken out some singer/songwriters like Joe Pug on tour recently. I’ve always felt that they had songs on that fringe on an Americana sound, and I’m excited to hear this album is in that vein.

Late to the party and just had my first few listens. Hands down my favorite album of the year. Haven't been moved by an album like this since Beck's Morning Phase.

I saw them live a few years ago at Voodoo Fest and they really were fantastic. I went in with low expectations and they were so good live that it made me go back and check out a few of their albums I had passed on over the last 10 years.

Still remember the first time I listened to Hot Fuss. I will always be a fan and this album pushed them up a few notches on my favorite list :)

I remember when the album came out and downloading "Somebody Told Me", then the rest of it. Saw them at Voodoo in 2004 which was actually a pretty blah daytime performance.

Pressure Machine is a keeper. I'm still loving it.
