There's a great 6 part documentary on Amazon Prime about the dead. Long Strange Trip. I believe Scorsese did it. Gives you a greater appreciation for the band.

Just saw this reply. Song starts with him getting kicked when he hit the ground. Home town jam, rifle in hand, etc. sent to war. That is not about returning and being treated poorly. Also sent him to kill the yellow man. Implies racist war. Again not about returning vets. Go listen to it again.

Rush - hate Geddy’s voice and his lyrics. Sounds like he is singing through that big nose of his.
Pearl Jam - hate Eddie’s voice. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to my ears
Dave Mathews - so much to hate, his voice, his lyrics, his playing. I could go six lifetimes and it would still not be long enough between songs.
U2 - this might be my single most hated banded ever. If Bono being a self righteous douche wasn’t enough to stoke the embers of my eternal hate, bookending it with an overrated guitar player who calls himself “the edge” does the trick. Damn I hate that band.

Yep, and I will add Journey with Steve Perry, U2, Eagles, Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, most (not all) late 70's punk, 80's hair bands (like Motley Crew/Poison, for example).
No two people will have the same taste, just like I have a low tolerance for modern pop or 'diva pop' if you will, hip hop/rap or modern country...
