I hope this thread is stickied next to his other stickied thread so everybody who visits this board knows not to take him seriously.

No wonder the music board can't have nice things like a link to the homepage. Retarded arse threads like these are why.

This thread is hilarious!

My answer to the question is 2.

Within You Without You
Strawberry Fields Forever
I Am the Walrus
Eleanor Rigby
A Day in the Life
Come Together
Across The Universe
Something
Get Back
I Want to Hold Your Hand
Back in the U.S.S.R.
Ticket to Ride
Do You Want to Know a Secret
When I'm Sixty-Four

And, one example of The Beatles' current relevance - a lyric from Drake in a hip hop song released in 2012:

"Then just drop down and get yo' eagle on
Or we can stare up at the stars and put The Beatles on"

Song is called "Frickin Problems" by ASAP Rocky featuring Drake, 2 Chainz & Kendrick Lamar. Peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Your life is going to end in about five minutes. You have just enough time left on this earth to listen to one song before you die.

Funny... I'm thinking that if you only had five minutes to live the first tune that might come to mind is "Yesterday" by the Beatles... unless you're a middle schooler with no memorable yesterdays who might settle for something insignificant like "Wonderwall".

the general lack of musical knowledge the OP unintentionally revealed in his first post is mind blowing and makes me very sad for him

My favorite post of his was when he averred that the Beatles have no "timeless" songs.

"Yesterday" is the most covered song in the history of songs... but it's not timeless?

"A Day in the Life" consistently ranks at the top of any greatest songs listing by the likes of Rolling Stone and Spin... and my son and his friends, who didn't live through Beatlemania, know the words and sing along whenever it hits the air... but it's not timeless?

So the whole basis of your argument is because they aren't hip, they're not a good band? The Beatles are popular with every age group so I don't know why you keep bringing up this old people shite. I'm 20 years old and friends with MANY Beatles fans. Not fanboys or fan girls, but causal fans who would laugh at your argument that The Beatles aren't relevant. There's a reason you're the minority in this thread.

The Beatles are the alpha and omega of 20th century music and it just eats you inside, doesn't? I just love the fact that you used Oasis of all bands in this thread. They might as well have been called The Bootleg Beatles.

Let me explain to you how arguments DON'T work. You don't get to just write whatever is on your mind and then try to pass it off as something I wrote. It's like against the rules. If you want to get technical, it's called a strawman argument. And you've done it in this thread about six different times.

Please stop doing that.

Okay, did you just bust out the rolling stones song rankings? Really? Is that the best you got?

For a thread so silly and retarded, it sure has generated a lot of keystrokes in response. A sizable percentage of which have come from you. Though each post* simply includes the same sentence, slightly reworded. So you must feel really really strongly about that single sentence.

*Each post from you
