I went to see Poison and Motley Crue the last time they were in Houston together. Poison opened.
I'm a huge hair band fanboy. I listen to all of them.
I couldn't get into Poison. I was glad when they were done and Motley Crue took over.

I like some of the hair bands but never did like poison. Unskinny bop is cringe worthy .

My ex-girlfriend dragged me to see them in '01 I think, and it was enjoyable enough. But I don't have a carpeted dashboard in my car, so I can't listen to them on the reg.

Yep. I am somewhat of a "hair band" connoisseur and Poison wouldn't even make a top 50 list for me. Then again I prefer it to steer clear of empty, duncey hooks-for-hooks-sake. That was always the most boring approach to my ears.

It means they were posers of the highest degree. Think about that. Posing hard in the worst music genre ever. You want a chick glamour look? Look at far we can take it. We’re suppose to be partying? Hey guys, look at how hard we party. Here’s a video of us with beer and chicks. Their image was so cringe worthy. And the fact you’re labeling it pop when they were hard rock/metal is truly telling.

Swear to god, I thought they were an all girl band until their first video started to get play. That cover of their first album......damn, that's some faggy shite.
I have to admit though, one of the funniest things I ever saw on MTV was when they had CC Deville featured for like a whole day or weekend around 1989. Motherfricker was beyond gaaked on cocaine for the whole thing. It was unreal.
