I do not like this record and I hate Mike Love.

PS is way to slick and lush and I repeat "I hate Mike Love"

I completely agree. That song is an absolute masterpiece, and timeless. My great great great great grandchildren will hear that song and they'll think it sounds amazing.

Pet sounds was actually a rip off by Brian Wilson from Dewey Cox.

Damn good album.

I had heard back in the day this was the first album a band recorded their instruments at different times rather than all together as one band. And Brian Wilson lead the way for future bands to do the same... True?

Right, if anything... this is closer to a Brian Wilson Project, than a Beach Boys project (excluding vocals, which I know our a big part of the sound)... In fact, Mike Love hated this direction because he thought it was fricking with the "formula"

Im trying to find the youtube video of Brian Wilson arranging God Only Knows with the session musicians. Its insane how he ended up with the finished product.

You should look for the youtube video that shows Brian Wilson drifting into insanity while tweaking Good Vibrations for months on end.

Some classic stuff here:
"God Only Knows"
"Don't Talk (Put Your Head On My Shoulder)"
"Wouldn't It Be Nice"
"I Just Wasn't Made For These Times"

Call it sacrilege, but I hear some of this in the Beach Boys' new album...
