I always enjoy his 'club' shows; He's either 1/2 drunk or all drunk, unshaven and sloppy. When I saw him at Hard Rock Casino, he was scrubbed up and sober; not that it was bad, just different.

But noooo, I've got a Grown-Up meeting early Friday morning, so I no can go.

I'm not the biggest fan but it's a fun show.

I think you're mistaken. Every show I've been to I was the only frat star in his 50's there.

I've a lot of frat star friends in their 50's. None of them know who Pat Green is.

Love Pat Green. Seen him tons of time when I was living in Houston before he "got big" with Wave on Wave. Riverroad Ice House and Gruene Hall were so much fun.

Go anyway! Meetings suck.

I haven't been to see Pat Green in a few years, but he always put on a fun show. I bet it's still good. Pat was my first intro to TX country back in the early 2000s, and his (old) band members were the first musicians I ever ran around with, so I'm forever thankful to and for him

Should be a great time. I'm actually jealous. I want to go!

that's been my experience. I think he loves the Varsity cuz he can regress to his early days.

I think his music has dipped the past 7 years or so, but he always puts on an entertaining show.

Way back, TX was his last decent song and that was 2006 I believe.

A few years ago I picked up George's Bar and Three Days to try out Pat Green on a road trip.

George's Bar (1999) is fantastic, one of my favorite CD's to this day.

Three Days (2001) was a shock after listening to George's Bar. Synthesized, drum machines, Nashvillized. It sold a lot better than George's Bar but no me gusta.

So the question is - does Pat Green still use the style of Three Days? If so I'm not interested, if not then maybe I should give him a try again with some more recent stuff.
