Kinda like Big Country's "Look Away" is much better than "In A Big Country" IMO.

Agreed. That's a great track. In fact, the whole album ("The Seer") is really good. I have the old cassette, and recently bought the used CD to listen to it again.

My favorite Crash Test Dummies song is Superman's Song
Mine too. That album is solid. Way too few have heard it.

Best known for Two Worlds Collide.

I thought they were best known for Noel Gallagher being a roadie

Hum - Stars was a hit, but I liked that album.

Agreed. The followup album was even better, in my opinion.

If you haven't already, check out Centaur (same singer as Hum).

I still like Screaming Trees (and Mark Lanegan's solo work) but don't recall them having another hit besides I Nearly Lost You.

Not "One hit wonder" but I always thought Spin Doctors "How Could You Want Him (When You Know You Could Have Me?)" was much better than "Two Princes" or "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong".

"Simple Minds"
"Psychedelic Furs"
"Human League"

These groups all qualify as "underrated" it not "extremely underrated" especially in the case of Simple Minds but it's also a stretch to consider any of these as one hit wonders. Simple Minds (easily one of the most underrated groups of the 80s had at least 4 bigs hits with Don't You Forget About Me, Alive and Kicking, Sanctify Yourself, and She Said. The Psychedelic Furs had multiple hit singles, and the Human League did as well.

On the other hand, I suppose in a way you could consider Simple Minds a one hit wonder in the sense that "Don't You Forget About Me" is played at a 20 to 1 rate over their other hit singles.

Centaur is definitely solid, but I just loved the way Matt and Tim played off of each other. They're one of those guitar tandems that's greater than the sum of the parts.

With that said you should also check out National Skyline, which included Hum's bassist, Jeff Dimpsey

Oingo Boingo

Known almost exclusively for "Weird Science", this group had a few other very catchy songs as well. The only other song I knew of theirs when I was younger was "Dead Man's Party" and that was from the movie Back to School. I've recently become hooked to 2 other very good songs of theirs thanks to XM radio's 1st Wave channel.

"Stay"
"Just Another Day"
