So I'm guessing headliners go: Weekend on Friday, Tool on Saurday, Arcade Fire Sunday.

Surprised they didn't get Calvin Harris since he cancelled on Hangout.

You like whatever you want. But like a previous poster already said, Tool has already played in NOLA. I would have rather LCD soundsystem play.

Tool is the only band on that poster I'd like to see.

What happened to this festival?

It's an inexpensive festival right in your backyard (assuming you live around here). And people are still gonna bitch......

Also, Cage the Elephant, so yeah.

Real question. Are you one of those people that pretty much listens to stuff you liked in the 90s? What modern era bands are you into? Or maybe the better question is what bands would you prefer to see at Voodoo?

[Insert festval name] sucks now; it's too crowded. They don't do ticket control and are more worried about nationwide, big name acts driving revenue and ticket sales.

Voodoo Fest blows. There's only like one band I'm interested in seeing. What a snoozer. This festival used to bring a lot of big name acts through New Orleans

The lineup was much better last year for rock fans.

i already did the $99 presale, and will get my moneys worth, but i do feel like last year catered to my personal tastes a bit better. even beyond just rock, stuff like the Jason isbell/ryan bingham pairing was an excellent pocket of music.

Definitely. The jam geeks will hate it, but that's a solid lineup.

Agreed. Better lineup that I have seen in a long time IMO
