Here's 10 reasons why you figs should quit bitching and just pay the money and go enjoy yourself

the lineup is fine, I'm sorry YOUR top 5 bands did not got chosen or you already saw same band in same city. who cares?

Excision and Snails light show alone is worth $100.

I'm not a huge Arcade Fire, but i'm damn sure down for Cage the Elephant and Tool!

All Them Witches, Mutemath, and Pucifer? Icing on the cake

Also, really like The Breton Sound as a local act getting to play that event. If you never have before, check them out while you're there.

This is a much better lineup than last year. I haven't felt this tempted to go to Voodoo in years.

Tool is fantastic in an arena, but I feel like I'm watching a show, a production. People don't rock out or sing along much. It doesn't seem like a fit for a festival, though Halloween makes a little more sense than most.

The best concert I've ever seen was when Tool played Voodoo Fest back in October of 2001. There was none of the stadium seating you get in arenas where people just sit on their asses and watch the show. There were thousands and thousands of people on their feet enjoying the show.

Was also the scariest concert I ever went too. People were getting trampled when the crowd surged with the huge mosh pits. Maynard had to stop the show numerous times to calm things down.

The most recent Puscifer and All Them Witches albums were both in the running for best album of last year to my ears. Would love to see both of them.

Charles Bradley is a bad motherfricker in his own right.

If I'm in town, I'm definitely going this year.

I was front row rail center at this show. I waited all day from 10am to be there and had to tell some fat Bush fan chick she could not have my spot (they went on before TOOL) I was litereally getting CRUSHED during tool. When they went on stage everyone just PUSHED towards the front. I had bruises on my chest and shoulders after that show.

Maynard at the very beginning stopped the show and explained the sitation and told everyone "take a step back...Good, now take 2 half-steps ( ) back. At that moment, and only that moment, I could breathe.

I spent most of the Tool show standing on one foot/toe because of the amount of people pushing. One of the coolest show moments of my life was when they played "Pushit" and Maynard's going "you're pushing me, shoving me, still love me, pushing me, shoving me" It was surreal.

I was about 4 or 5 rows back, just slightly left of center of the stage. It was a great spot for the most part.

Some of the push to the front was people trying to get closer to the stage, but from what I could tell most of it was from the crowd trying to make way for the moshers. I was kind of on the edge of the biggest pit, and it was pretty hairy for a minute. It seemed like the crowd picked me up and moved me 20 feet in the blink of an eye. My buddy that was standing next to me almost got his ankle snapped, and I was doing everything I could to keep this small younger lady from getting crushed. I'm not a weak man, and it took most of my strength to keep just enough space for her to fit between me and my bud using my forearm braced against him. Hell, we were almost horizontal for a split second.

We ambled to that stage after watching Snoop Dog earlier, and got there just in time to catch Bush. There were thousands and thousands of people there waiting for Tool. I bet Bush was not used at all to playing to that kinda crowd at that stage in their career. I spent all of Bush's show trying to move my way closer to stage center and in the small lapse between Bush and Tool I made a nice move and got right up front, relatively.

After the initial craziness, the show was fricking epic. A full moon, thousands and thousands of fans totally into the show, crisp fall air, naked people hanging from the stage, and my first time seeing my very favorite band. It was a magical evening.
