Official Jazz Fest Late Night Show Thread

We are hastily approaching the greatest time of the year to see live music in NOLA. Does anyone else know of any other acts that will be coming to the BR/NOLA for the jazz fest weekends? This is what I have so far and will update the thread as suggestions are added.

I saw Dragon's Smoke last year. Much better than Galactic IMO. They only play once or twice a year.

Yea dragon smoke is beast. Never seen them but have a good bit of their shows on m iPod and had seen every member on several occasions

Robert Randolph - House of Blues Friday, April 27.
Never seen him live, but I heard he puts on a hell of a show...not sure if he will be at Jazz Fest. Couldn't find him on the cube.

I've been pretty pumped about seeing !!! for a while now
Probably go see Zeds Deads, Toubab Krewe, Lettuce, EOTO, and Washed Out as well
Gonna be like the third year in a row I've been more excited about the after shows than the fest itself

I saw him at wakarusa two years ago. He puts on a really sick show. I could have sworn he is from the south by the way he plays but he is actually from new jersey i think.

I've got tickets for both this show and Primus. Killing me. Pretty sure i go to the first Original Meters Club show in nola in 30 years though. That show is going to be killer, plus add Papa Grows and Rebirth. Funky Funky Funky...

Robert Randolph is indeed from Jersey. First time he played the fest we met him backstage, really nice guy. Saw him a couple of months ago at the Iridium Club up here, maybe 100 people.
He is not playing the fest.

He learned to play the lap steel in his church. His shows are super high energy and a great time.

Ive seen the word a bunch, probably around 6 or 7 times. John medeski is my favorite musician on the planet.
