1. Metamodern
2. Sound & Fury
3. Sailor's Guide
4. High Top

Honestly 2-4 are interchangeable for me. All good, but Metamodern sets itself apart.

I love how he used a horn section in Sailer’s Guide to Earth.

The second half of Welcome to Earth is my favorite.

Metamodern is #1 for me. 2-4 would be tough to rank right now. I need to re-listen to High Top and Sound and Fury.

I stated in that thread a while back that it's a good record that requires you to listen with an open mind. I love when musicians try to expand their sound, and that's what he did here. Yes he strayed from the country sound, but his adventure into that Styx style is great. Some of his best guitar work is on this record.

I love it
