What you metal heads think? I’ve only had time to run through it once so haven’t formed an opinion yet. Sounds like Lamb of God to me.

I'm not big into Lamb of God. I don't dislike them, I'm just not that familiar with their music. I was in my recliner the other day, with my headphones on, listening to some metal mix on youtube and fell asleep. I learned that Memento Mori had come on because, after the slow intro, the lyric "Wake Up!!" caused me to wake the frick up like a shotgun blast had just gone off. So now I'm a Lamb of God fan, I guess.

Their earlier stuff was incredible. Hopefully they can get back to that. I can’t comment on the new album yet, but I really want it to be like the older jams that cause me to break my neck.

It's OK. They have a cookie cutter approach to their recent albums. If you are new to their sound, you will definitely like the new stuff too.

Also, Chris Adler released an EP with his new band Firstborne the same day LoG dropped their new album. I thought that was funny.
