Idk how I missed this but LCD is on my list of bands I haven’t seen that I want to. Gotta make this happen.

Wait a few more days, prices may even go down more or check sites like stub hub.. but LCD, IDLES, Jamie XX, Freedia all with full sets (schedule is on the site) is more than fair for $80 before fees.. it will be hot during the day, but LCD plays after 8.
They've also added a side stage with Lost Bayou Ramblers, Tristan Dufrene, Otto on Friday

Looks like single day is starting at $100 (likely before fees)
Now $95 after fees. Must be going over like a lead balloon

New Orleans is the only city I've seen them lower ticket prices for, but City Park is also one of the biggest areas on the tour and I knew it was going to be a hard sell because of the market and the weather, etc. I know Chicago is just set up for 20k, NYC is pretty much the same but the City Park festival grounds can hold probably hold more than double that depending on how much of the grounds they take up, I think there's one main stage and a smaller stage with local acts

The other issue is that touring the festival - including rotating in other markets at the same time- really hurts the “I’m going to a festival in Nola in June” on an extra level. Houston folks can stay home and see it, and cities not in the tour can pick a northern stop
We were a poorly planned stop

And both times I've gone, I felt like I was going to die of heat stroke. We can all agree Jazz Fest weather is less than ideal.
Most years it’s not all that hot. This year we got lucky with no hot days.
Hell one year a cold front even came through for the first weekend

Will anyone be going to this? Saw LCD in Brooklyn in 21 and not really planning on going, but haven’t heard a whisper amongst friends or anything

I want to go JUST for LCD but can’t make up my mind if it’s worth it.
