Welcome 2 Club XIII

1. The Driver (Hood)
2. Maria’s Awful Disclosure’s (Cooley)
3. Shake and Pine (Hood)
4. we will never wake you in the morning (Hood)
5. Welcome 2 Club XIII (Hood)
6. Forged in Hell and Heaven Sent (Hood, feat. Margo Price)
7. Every Single Storied Flameout (Cooley)
8. Billy Ringo in the Dark (Hood)
9. Wilder Days (Hood)

Starting to think this band is completely dead. 2 of their last 3 albums have sucked donkey balls.

Of course, Cooley still managed a decent track. I like Every Single Storied Flameout. All of Patterson Hood’s are terrible.

I suppose Cooley just has more trouble cranking out songs because he used to get about 40% of the songs on the album. Now he’s only good for 2 tracks.

This album wasn’t very political at all. Maybe one song.

Ironically their super political album is their only good one in the last 6 years.

Tough to Let Go,
Sea Island Lonely
Sarah’s Flame
The Unraveling

All legitimately good songs.

The New Ok and The Perilous Night are very catchy tunes even if you don’t agree with the message.

This has been mostly true for the entire time.

This is just a damned shame.

I was done with them after the last full live show I saw and then when Patterson Hood sat in with Anders Osborne at Tip's for his Christmas show - dude legit ruined the show with his BS.

Meh. He has some great songs. Recently he’s been awful. Tough to Let Go and Sea Island Lonely are the exceptions.

I truly never liked them. My favorite hardly ever gets mentioned, but it does get play on XM and actually comes up on my Youtube music account. George Jones Talkin Cell Phone Blues. I kinda like Righteous Path.

Some of Patterson’s early songs are also some of DBT’s best - Let There Be Rock, Ronnie and Neil, Sinkhole, 18 Wheels Of Love, Angels & Fuselage, Plastic Flowers On the Highway, and several others.

Forged in Hell and Heaven Sent is a really good song. Really the only one I like off the new album. Margo Price singing backing vocals, horns, and slide guitar.

It’s a great album that sounds like old DBT.

Only thing I’ve really ever heard from them was a cover of Martika’s Toy Soldiers
