Need help remembering a song

Woke up in the middle of the night with this song in my head and I can't place it. Normally you can search by a few lyrics, but I can't think of anything either. It's starting to drive me crazy. No idea how it got stuck in my head
I think it's some mid-late 90s song. Sounds like of like La Bamba (?). I want to say it was on some teen movie from that era but I've tried searching and nothing.
Anything?

It hit me around 3am. Went back to sleep and woke up again about an hour before I normally do and spent that whole time googling and youtubing. I thought I could figure it out but no luck, so here I am
