I can't really give much information except that it played recently, and it has an instrument that can best be described as a kids xylophone. It is a strange sounding song.

Any help will be appreciated.

Edit:

Can you narrow down the day and time -- of the day, and also of the hour -- that the song played? Male or female vocal? "Strange" as in how?

Two songs came to mind, but unless it came from a specialty show I highly suspect Corporate_Rock_92.3 wouldn't touch either one.

(1978 song) Walter Egan - and look who's singing backup

(Current song) Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard

It is a current song, a relatively new sing say within the last few months. It has a male singer. The song is strange in the fact that its kind of broken sounding, and the little kids xylophone sound is very prevalent.

You can go on their website and it shows the last 3 songs played. Next time you hear it, go check.

For future reference, download the Shazam app and it will tell you artist and name of song. I do this occasionally for songs I hear during movies or television shows. Listen to 92.3 and the song will be replayed in several hours

No. I've been trying to listen to the station more.

When I say a kids xylophone, I mtalking about those fisher price ones where the sound has a clang to it. I will post it when ever I find out.

Actually, if you have an iPhone, you can now just ask Siri to ID the song. Apple bought Shazam a few years back.

This is a more recent song. It has to be. I usually dont listen to the radio when driving, podcast or Amazon music mostly. I've heard it twice, but didn't think to see who it was. I haven't heard it in about a week. So I'm not sure how old it really is.

I've heard Bang by AJR alot....LOL.
