Find Your Way Back - Jefferson Starship

does it for me. I really like this song, but there is no other Jefferson Airplane/Starship song I care for.

What say you?

Not a big fan of Neil young, although I do respect his talent. But Cortez the Killer is unbelievable!

I have heard it several times. They entire 20 min live version. It's quality. Imo, it doesn't beat Neil's. Warren haynes is the only 1 I have heard that is really close to being better. But to be fair, I really enjoy anytime I hear Warren pick up a guitar...and no, I can't make jazz fest this weekend to see warren...sucks being employed sometimes...Haha

Eagles- I Can't Tell You Why

fitting title, eh?

And I wouldn't say I dislike the Eagles either. I think I'm just burned out on them.

Cool. I honestly don't know much of their catalog. I followed the you tube link to Cortez cover on suggestion of the music board. It may even been 1 or your post actually.

What else to they have that I may like? Lately, I've been into more towards of a classic blues/rock phase. Guitar rock kinda thing. Derek and the dominoes haven't left the cd player on a while. Duane allman, 70s Clapton, ABB, that sort of feel They got anything with that type of sound? Can you link some of their more impressive guitar rock songs?

Interesting. So you don't like the.stones except those 2 songs. I would assume, if you like those tracks, sympathy for devil, gimmie shelter, paint it black would be high in your rotation...huh, to each his own.

carry the zero (possibly my favorite song ever)

randy described eternity

their album, perfect from now on, is pretty much my favorite guitar rock album of all-time.

She's In Parties - Bauhaus

Although a lot of my friends were diehard fans, Bauhaus tended to get on my nerves, probably because of Peter Murphy because I really dig Love and Rockets. Murphy's solo stuff was crap. His album Dust is perhaps the worst music and concert that I've ever spent money on.

I Won't Give Up- Jason Mraz. I don't like a single one of his other songs, but for some reason this one clicks with me. Good song.

Bloodstains by Agent Orange. I think they are the worst punk band in existence, but that song is amazing.

Take the Money and Run by the Steve Miller Band. I hate hate HATE the Steve Miller Band, but that song is pretty damn catchy.

Bauhaus is OK, and I dig Love & Rockets too. But that stings b/c I love Peter Murphy's solo stuff. I like it 1000x more than Love & Rockets. The one thing I can agree on is that Dust was the worst crap ever. I believe that was his period of living in Turkey and experimenting. It was awful. He finally got back on track with last year's Ninth. Actually it has a good bit of Bauhaus sound to it. But I'd put Peter Murphy up there as my top solo artist. His run of Love Hysteria, Deep, Holy Smoke, and Cascade are constantly in regular rotation for me.
