Yeah, muh morning Jacket is so mainstream. I only listen to alt prog jazz house fusion.

My favorite band to come on the scene since Tool. My friend gave me the Okonokos dvd when it was released, and I have been hooked ever since. Their orchestration is great, JJ writes incredible lyrics and his vocals are unique and on point.
I find their studio albums are very good, but it's definitely their live sets that seal the deal. When you listen to At Dawn studio record it is a very nice production that leaves you feeling like you're sitting around the campfire. When you hear them play any of this live, they bring an energy to it that elevates it to another level. I find myself listening to their live shows more than their studio recordings as a result.

I'm a big fan of James, but his voice has definitely deteriorated over the last few years.
