I use to prefer electrics. I have an American standard tele that I got after I graduated college in ‘06. I plug it into a Fender Twin Reverb with various pedals, but lately I’ve been fascinated with acoustics and tonewoods.
My main guitar on stage lately has been a 2022 Martin D-28 with a Fishman Matrix pickup. I don’t think it has “opened up” just yet, but it still sounds and feels amazing.
I always run it through a Fishman AFX reverb pedal. I originally intended to buy one by LR Baggs, but the salesman insisted I give the Fishman a try, and I ended up really liking it.

Just acoustics.... plain and simple, on the back porch or a friend's living room.
Picked up a slope shouldered, slot headed, 12 fret Yairi a couple years ago that has their direct coupled bridge and it's no joke there's less string tension. Which really helps out following the rather serious hand injury from a few years before. Great big volume and sound.
If you have such a need I'd suggest checking one out.

Green Stripe. And it's Simul-class so I run EL34s and 6L6s simultaneously.

I had a red stripe simul-class with the GEQ like yours, damn what a badass amp. I pretty much only got it to play around with a while before reselling it, I'm just a hobby player and it was too much amp for me. I swear you could hear it in the next county when I cranked it

I play terribly right now, but I'm about 7 weeks into learning guitar. I'm loving it and pick up both my guitars every single day. Long work meetings I don't have to talk, I pick up a guitar and play around while listening.
Currently have a 2007 Epiphone Les Paul Custom (recently repaired from decapitation). Also have a Squier Sonic Telecaster, which I'm impressed with and like the way it feels in my hands.

Nice - read good things about that amp. I ordered a Friedman JEL-20 and it arrives tomorrow.

I only play in church but I use either:
1. A 1985 Tokai Strat that’s more a Fender than anything Fender has made in a while, with a Seymour Duncan TwangBanger in the bridge that sounds like a Telecaster bridge pickup, and neck and middle pickups that I had custom wound by a company in England called Catswhisker Pickups to play nice with the hotter bridge pickup, and equipped with blender pot wiring to get all pickup combinations;
2. A John Lennon Rickenbacker 325 that has been rewired to get all pickup combinations;
3. A DanElectro 12 string electric.
Into a POD Go that goes to the soundboard, which I love. I have built some presets but I primarily use a preset I bought from Worship Tutorials that is tone matched from an actual 1964 Vox AC30 that is absolutely sublime.

It’s been a while, but live setups were
Keys: Yamaha Ex5 and MIDI controller running soft synths
Bass: Jackson PS5 through a Hartke stack
Guitar: Les Paul Custom through a Rocktron Chameleon and Peavy 50/50 amp running a Marshall stack.
But I’m old and married now, so it’s all gathering dust.
