I’m a big fan of Mat Davidson who goes by the name Twain. Incredible songwriter. Alynda Lee Segarra is loaded with talent as well.

That was the funniest part of the Netflix series. They had me fooled for a few songs

Lady Gaga has written tons of her own hits and hits for others. She has also has found success across different genres.
I know pop isn’t the favorite musical style of the music board, but you have to respect her talents, as a performer, as a voice talent, and as a song writer.

Easily the most overlooked is Conor Oberst, and I dont know how.

A Star Is Born made me wonder why she doesn't put out more non-pop albums. What a beautiful voice and piano player. I really liked her in that movie and my favorite movie of that year. I agree, you have to respect her.

If y'all like Tyler Childers, you should give Ian Noe a shot. A little more Americana, but some powerful lyrics. Meth Head is great, as is Irene (Raving Bomb). Another Kentucky fella on the way up.
