His vocal range was average at best. Certainly no where near good enough to sing something like "Take it to the Limit" in its original key.
And I do enjoy listening to Parsons.

The Band
Their importance in the pantheon of rock is probably a bit inflated imo

What did you just say ? HOLY shite. I can’t even...
I get it if it’s not your cup of tea but it is impossible for a rare virtuoso to be overrated. It’s like saying Gretzky or Da Vinci are overrated . It doesn’t even compute.

Every band that's ever been mentioned on this board is overrated.

Motley Crue
Bunch of so called L.A. tough arse metal heads who wore more make up than a high school cheerleading squad. Lemmy would have torn every single one of them in two right down the spines of their backs and used one of their rib bones as a toothpick. Shitty musicians and songwriters too though I will give Vince Neil credit for his devotion to the T.J. Martell charity.

He's good, but I wouldn't go that far. I think Johnny Winter was better.

I get where you’re coming from, but that’s a little strong.

This is a great band . . .
. . . with an absolutely mediocre lead singer.
