Maybe you should ask Bob Dylan.

I’m singing the lyrics to a song you stupid mother fricker. Songs I like and songs I purchased. Dre made hundreds of millions of dollars from white people buying his music. Do you really think he thought they wouldn’t listen to the words and *gasp, sing them? It all about intent. Perhaps you should to get off your knees, shrug some of your white guilt off and get a fricking clue.

There's no reason to continue being obtuse

Most don't give two shits about the word itself, they simply think its bullshite that the consequences for saying the word are based solely on the color of one's skin.

If it was vice versa, you'd call it racism, but since it isn't, you applaud it.

Interesting.

Removing societal context and history to make your point isn't being obtuse?

Socially do you react differently to a teenager and an 80 year old saying the same thing? Does a phrase uttered by a man sometimes ring different than how you feel about a woman saying it? Varying religions?

This is one of the most extreme examples in day to day but don’t pretend that the person delivering the words doesn’t effect your view of the situation and the person speaking them. It’s common sense that it would.

It’s socially accepted that the word is for use by a certain demographic. I cant change that.

I'm not talking about personal feelings, I'm speaking more to a person losing financial opportunities simply because he wasn't the "right" color to say a word.

Again, if this was vice versa, it'd be considered blatant racism. Not sure why it isn't now.
