I went 1 day last year...I don't know how people go all 4 days. My feet and legs were shot. Son said he wanted to do all 4 this year.Posted on 3/10/22 at 12:49 am to Lesalli
Day 2 is FAR and away the best day. No contest.

Bad Religion is the only band I'd have a passing interesting in seeing... and I've already done that a few times... def a festival not tailored to my taste...

When’s the last time AIC released some new music? I know there’s been some Cantrell solo stuff.

2018 Rainier Fog.
It's a really solid rock album. I listen to it often.

Knew about that one. I was wondering if I’d missed something.

Sunday and Friday are the two best days by far. Friday being better than Sunday.

On the website, you can do layaway on the tickets. That’s awesome. Definitely going Saturday night to see KISS
Edit: put a pass in layaway. I’m down

If you haven't been... food vendors were awesome. Tons of bourbon if that's your thing. I got a glass of Maynard's wine... it was called "The Diddler"
There will be 4 stages this year. 100 yards from the main stages was as close as I could or wanted to get... super packed.

Yes, the Highlands Festival Grounds in front of the convention center. Heard it’s good.

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn. Easy walk. Maybe 1/2 mile to the concert. First time I've been to Louisville so I was a little apprehensive thinking it was Memphis like, but we didn't have any issues. Felt safe. Hotel had a shuttle to the grounds but we missed it and didn't want to wait on it to return so we just walked.
