in a few weeks 11/22 at M+W ..... first time in almost a year. Joined by Portland's The Littlest Birds and locals Baby Boy...

Might be a bad night for M&W. Competing with the Robert Earl keen at the casino and randy Rogers at the varsity that night.

Their fan base has a more sophisticated palette than some popular casino worthy country acts and There's a reason they play OEJ and other interesting venues across the country. I'm pretty sure AB has more important things to do than troll dive bar owners on TigerDroppings..
I actually like lost bayou ramblers too, but they are niche as are most of the acts you book.
It's for hipsters who don't go to shows or buy booze hah

FTR, I have never been to M&W but appreciate what they are trying to do.
The Varsity tries to act like the big bad daddy of the Baton Rouge music scene but comes off as rather pathetic.

I'm not a music promoter...
I went to college in BR. I live in Nola and work for a digital marketing company. I did have the pleasure of playing golf with AB a few months ago and I can tell you his game sucks.
On another note.. Did anyone catch the CC Adcock show at DBA last weekend? Those guys were fricked up but put on a helluva show.
