This is a huge bummer. LoG will not be the same without Adler on drums.

He hasn't played with them in over a year. I think he was a founding member too.

Yeah that does suck. I like Adler a lot. The article didn’t delve into reasons why. You heard anything on that?
Interesting bit too about him and Zetro teaming up. Looks like a side project thing. I’m also curious about Exodus and if they’ll be getting back after it now that Gary will be done with Slayer. Really hoping for new stuff from them.

Sucks about Adler. One of the best drummers around.

Damn that sucks. Wasn’t he in some sort of accident?

I knew something was up when he joined Megadeth for a tour about 6 or 7 years ago. He is great.

NICE! That’s great to see.
Hopefully that indicates that they’ll get cranked up pretty quickly.

LOG will never be the same...he was the backbone of that band with his almost machine-like double bass technique.

Yeah, he jacked up his shoulder in a motorcycle accident.
I'm willing to bet LoG was waiting on him to recover and either 1) he hasn't or 2) he has and when he joined that super group for a fall tour, LoG said screw this we're not waiting any longer.
They obviously want to enter the studio to work on the next album and they just couldn't do it waiting on Adler.
Regardless of what happened, this news totally blows. Supposedly the new guy is pretty badass in the live shows but there's no way he's on Adler's level.

He's played with several other bands. I think he's just tired of LOG.

This is certainly possible. Something was up though and I don't think it's related to his injury. When Randy was interviewed a couple of months ago and was asked about Adler, he simply said "I have no comment on him." Something went on behind the scenes.
