Havent seen it mentioned here yet. "Lotta Sea Lice"

Really liking it so far. Nice laid back vibe and their voices work great together with Kurts jangly guitar style

For kurt vile, I usually require a few listens. I did like Peeping Tomboy version. Great song, and I really like Courtney's take.

I'm a big fan of Barnett and Vile but his last album sucked and this collab is boring as hell.

I know a lot of people that like Kurt's stuff that thought that was a dog of an album. But he had some marketing hype behind it so....It was music for depressed suburbanites.

Sorry to come across so harsh. It's just a product of my personal disappointment in what they put out..... And I'm an arsehole.

Ehhh... Americana-radio tastemaker BMR has been playing Over Everything for a while now. It's a song I hated at first, but I came around to relate to the humor in their lyric coupling about the ringing in my ears

quote:

When I was young I liked to hear music blarin' And I wasn't carin' to neuter my jams with earplugs But these days I inhabitate a high-pitched ring over things So these days I plug 'em up
When I'm strugglin' with my songs I do the same thing too And then I crunch 'em up in headphones, cause why wouldn't you? You could say I hear you on several levels at high decibels
Over everything
