Saw the ad at 3pm and left the last office to come here. Got in line just in the nick of time. ~350 tickets being sold.

They were my favorite band for a time after the release of their debut. First three albums still get played pretty often to this day. After that, well, there were a few good songs, but I guess the sellout label is appropriate.

Major sellouts.
Update: I didn’t get a fricking ticket. I was given a yellow stub as I was one of the first 350 people in line. They said they sold out. So I waited in line for five hours for nothing.

Looking at pictures of them before & after the label cleaned them up is one of the funniest things to do. I saw them at Voodoo Fest years ago when they were touring on one of their first 2 albums & they were interesting. Now they are complete garbage.
I noticed at week 2 of ACL they have to go onstage right after Turnstile. For once I feel sorry for Kings of Leon.

Voodoo Fest 2006 where they played Sunday afternoon. RHCP was the night before. Was there!
