Kanye's always been arrogant, but he's feeling himself a little too much right now.
This one of those album that would've been panned if it wasn't from someone as high profiled as Kanye.
I liked 3 or 4 songs, but sorry, making something unique doesn't make it good.

Good thing it's unique and good.

I listened to about 2 minutes of Blood on the Leaves, and turned it off. Garbage.

Yeah, that is what is so annoying. There isn't any real technicality to what he is doing, and it isn't as thought-provoking as he thinks it is. This is why he is a hack.

If Soulja Boy put out this same exact album, the entire world would laugh forever at how terrible it is. Kanye does it and we're just supposed to assume we "don't get it" if we think its shitty.
I don't want to hear about "New Slaves" and how deep your shite is when every other line is about his Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, who's fashion show you were front row at in Paris and then you knock up Kim Kardashian.

This the greatest shite in the club
Since "In Da Club"
It's so packed I might ride around
On my bodyguard's back like Prince in the club
She say "Can you get my friends in the club?"
I say "Can you get my Benz in the club?"
Holy smokes. What a lyrical genius. His clever word choice makes it sound like all these lines rhyme.
How does he do it?
Better question....how do people fall for his schtick, and think he's anything more than a product of a publicity factory? His act has been tired for quite some time now.
Do your daughter (and the rest of us) a favor, Kanye. Quit music and be a devoted dad.

All rappers have lines like that, it's easy to pick out the subpar lines. However, there are some good lines and songs on yeezus. Over time, it will probably grow on me

They do rhyme.

So he's a hack because of this album?

The rhyme is internal you fricking moron. Since rhymes with Prince. Friends rhymes with Benz.

On Sight and Blood on the Leaves, are my early favorites.

I like blood in the leaves just because of the ode to New Orleans

Yeah, I definitely was feeling that track, brah.

Thanks for the lesson, kind sir.
Posters like you are hard to find, sir.
I truly regret that I whined, sir.
But this puts me in a bind, sir.
I really hope you don't mind, sir.
That took about 7 minutes, tops.
Kanye

Bound 2 is awesome, New Slaves is a banger, and the rest is pretty weak. Those are my final thoughts.

I don't get it. Are you now knocking simple rhyme schemes in a desperate attempt to save face for being a dipshit?
Posted on 6/17/13 at 11:32 pm to urinetrouble
Simple rhyme schemes have been my point the whole time. Just pointing out that if what he does is so easy that a "dipshit" like me can do it, then there is a remote possibility that he might be praised a little too highly for his abilities.
Were you this aggressive and foul-mouthed before you had Yeezus in your life?
I'm deeply sorry if my opinions don't match yours, and if that is automatically perceived by you as a personal attack. But that's not a "me" problem.....good luck to you, sir, and enjoy your album.
