In Rome this June. I'm a big fan, and this will be the first time to see them live. Apparently they haven't played there since 1996.

Update - wow, that was an awesome experience. I hope I can see them again soon.

I got a little scared when they cancelled the second London show last week.

They were pretty incredible at Jazz Fest back in 2010.

Enjoy.

Not a bad place to see them the first time. I saw them in Dallas in 2013. I've seen them 4 times. They played Chloe Dance/Crown of Thorns. Wife laughed at me because I was so visibly giddy and ate up with fanboy bliss.

Yea man. To say I'm excited is an understatement. Where did you go to see them the other 3 times?

It's pretty impressive how Eddie's voice is ageing for his singing style. Still wailing away

Austin, Houston, and Nacogdoches.

Houston was woodlands in 2000 right after the deaths at their Copenhagen (I think) show from trampling. Couldn’t have blankets or chairs or near anything on the side of the hill.

I've seen them 7 times but haven't seen them since the Riot Act tour. Just hasn't worked out but will attempt to see them again. Just not at an outdoor concert. LOL

I've seen a lot of that show on YouTube, sounds good even on a cell phone video. A saints fan like yourself should have appreciated the Steve Gleason introduction, followed by State of Love and Trust.

I still have my bootleg CD and ticket stub from the Tip's show in '92 which was my first time. The tickets to see this relatively unknown band at the time were listed in the vendor database as "Pear Jam".

I paid $228 for 2. That included all fees and delivery of the tickets ($34). I think that was cheaper than when they were in dallas in 2013

Not difficult at all. I don't think the demand in Italy is like that of England or Germany.

Epic. Would've been better if it was Mookie Blaylock

Damn good show. I had seen their first show at Wrigley - which was an experience due to the rain and shortened show. The Dallas show was their first in Big D in like 10 years. Too damn long

I wasn’t at Tips. I’m sure it was epic. But I did also see them in ‘92. In the Spring on the “Ten” tour in Orlando at a club called The Edge. Fantastic. Saw ‘em again just a few months later, again in Orlando, at Lollapalooza.

Until time travel is invented this is probably accurate. They are past their relevance but still in the end of prime of their musicianship. They are all in their 50’s. They are able to bounce around their catalog of songs and usual covers.

They are all that is left of Seattle now basically. And they keep their shows to arenas and not stadiums (except Wrigley).
