Unfortunately JM has been infected already with the pop-influenced virus that has spread to every genre of music leading to nothing but watered down, radio built garbage..
I’m as big a Mayer fan as you’ll find but it just seems like all the bright spot artists of the past two decades have been relatively disappointing with any release in the last 5 years or so
