I think the first time I saw him was a Gruene Hall Christmas show a long, long time ago. Sad to see that tradition interrupted. Hope he recovers all right.

Income tax overdue.
I think she is too.
Been busted, I'll probably get busted somemore.
But I'll catch it all later.
Can't let it stop me now,
Besides, I've been down this road once before...

He is back

quote:

The Scamp is home and getting stronger by the day. However, bouncing back from what he went through will be a slower process than we all want.

We have had to cancel all November dates and most were moved into the early part of 2018. We cannot express our gratitude enough to The Golden Nugget and The Talking Stick Resort for being so understanding...as well as you fans who have been inconvenienced by the schedule changes. All of this was obviously beyond our control, but we are still sorry to have disrupted plans for so many.

That being said, we are targeting the Gruene Hall Xmas shows to reunite J.J. with his fans and his music.

Those of you who make these shows part of your Xmas celebration know how special they are and while it's possible he will not be back 100% we hope to be close!!

Throughout his career we have seen you fans give him support when he needs it on stage and know he will get all the help he needs from you to make this memorable for all.

Many will also be glad to hear that Camp Belize laminates and t-shirts are being mailed out next week. He has been daydreaming about Belize as we are sure many of you are!!

Lastly we just want to thank all of you for your kind cards, emails and calls of support. We are sorry we could not respond individually, but am sure you understand that our plates were full! Please know that we appreciate each and every one.

We have been constantly reminded of how very grateful we are to have so many special things to look forward to and so many loyal and kind fans!

Sincerely,
Tried and True Music

Saw him at the House of Blues in NOLA just before Katrina. I was so close to the stage I remember saying to myself, " if I had a yardstick in my hand, I could tap him on his boot." I don't like country, but you gotta love JJW.

Didn't know that. I hope he recovers quickly. One of my all time favorites.

Sometimes I just wake up hummin'
Feelin' like this world is right
Want to jump right up and take a walk outside
And take in the morning light
Feel the music running through me,yeah,
Make me want to dance
Clap my hands and dance
