town of Tahlequah

I lived there for seven years. that's one of the wildest craziest towns in America. total outlaws and hippies living off the grid up in the hills.

are you familiar with Randy Crouch?

They just played at Strange Brew in Shreveport this past weekend. I wasn't able to go. Proud Souls and Somwhere down in Texas are as good as it gets. I'll eventually see them live.

The fiddle player? He's actually recorded with Boland before, I think.

And I've never actually been to Oklahoma, but RC is trying to get me to visit. It's only 7ish hours to Tahlequah so I feel a road trip coming on, although they're in TX quite a bit so I manage to get my Turnpike fix without really leaving the greater Austin area.

If you get a chance, ask the bass player and/or the dj what they're looking for in the segment.

Whenever I deal with the media, I always ask "what are we trying to do" .. a little pre-talk can help.
