This thread has me excited about seeing him tomorrow night

And I just remembered that I saw him back in October with American Aquarium so I guess it hasn't been THAT long since I've been to a Boland show. Still looking forward to it.

I'm thinking the last time doesn't count since I spent most of the show in the green room taking shots with the guys from AA.

I love Boland but I realllllly love Jameson.

So I'm due, too.

Jason Boland is by far my favorite current artist.

Last time he played BR he said he wasn't coming back, and I don't blame him. He sells out big ads bars in TX and draws 100 max here. He does play at a place West of Lafayette a couple times a year.

Makes sense.

I actually expect to see Turnpike play the Shreveport area long before they make it to BR/NO/Laffy. There's just more of a red-dirt following up there...I'm sure it has everything to do with the proximity to Oklahoma and Texas.

ETA: Also, Evan has a soft spot for Shreveport and would love to play there. He grew up in a tiny town in OK and told me his family used to get their news from Shreveport. He loves it even though he's never been there

Don't remember if it was at the Tx Club show or the North Street fest show when he told us that. Whatever his last one was.

Yeah, I don't blame them. I've seen too many extremely talented bands play the Varsity to 20-50 ppl.

Wish I could go see wade Friday night. I saw him last year there and he put in a good show. Will Hoges new song with him is very badass.

That's a bummer you can't go, Wade puts on a great show. I thought about going out to Floore's tonight to see him play with Randy, Cory, and Cody Canada, but the weather's awful so I decided not to make the trip.

And speaking of Turnpike, the bass player text me last night to ask if I wanted to be a guest on his new radio show . I'm going to try it but I'm afraid I'll bore the whole town of Tahlequah
