I like Jason Aldean. He sings what sells and obviously is selling records no matter how much ish people want to talk about him. I really don't understand all the negativity for him.

I hate this argument. Colt Ford sucks. And Brantley Gilbert sounds like crap. Colt Ford thinks he's a rapper, well to bad you suck. People act like it isn't common place for a guy to write songs for other writers because they can't really sing. If Brantley Gilbert sounded decent his stuff would be on the radio.

As far as radio country singers go, Jason Aldean is one of my favorites. Half the time I feel like I'm listening to a late nineties pop station with country music now... Jewel, Michele Branch, Kid Rock, Hootie and the Blowfish, Uncle Kreacker, Sheryl Crowe, ect ect ect. Even freaking Lionel Ritchie is singing "country" now.
I still really like some radio guys though, but they never really play them... Chris Young, David Nail.
Gary Allan is my personal favorite of all time. And I think 90's country was the best decade. Love me some Doug Stone.

This threads cracking me up! Jason Aldean doesn't approach anything genuine about country music and thank God Waylon's not around to slap his bitch arse around. He is every bit as "poppy" as Taylor swift or Kelly Clakrson. He appeals I guess to homoerotic douches who claim to like country music. His album stuff is good but just his singles are radio friendly. Really? Jason Aldean is a mega tool.
