Questions.
A. Is everyone able to see images? I suck at posting direct images.
B. The output jack to the amp? I’ve never seen one like that. Looks like a standard one that’s been flipped? This common? Serve a purpose?
C. Sorry image is inverted. I am trying to get the pole pieces. They are pretty jagged instead of staggered? I’ve not seen any like this. Is this common to these “50s” MIM pickups.
Thanks in advance.

I see the images. Sweet ride you got there!
The cup is flipped. Remove the two Phillips screws. Pull the cup out without overstretching the leads from the jack to the harness. Pinching the jack on the opposite side, use a 1/2" socket to loosen the nut on the plug side. Remove jack from cup, flip the cup, and tighten back with the "point" or tip of the output jack rotated to the bottom so it will fit back into the cup and take the jack without obstruction against the cavity wall. Screw it back down. If you feel hard resistance screwing the cup back down, if the cup doesn't easily line up with the mounting screw holes, and/or you can't push the cord in the jack or can't "click" it in, unscrew the cup, loosen the jack, position its "point" to about 7 or 5 o'clock and re-tighten.
The pole pieces' hard stagger looks vintage and model correct. You're fine.

I did the same thing with my Les Paul when I got it. My wife said she was being she-cuckolded by a guitar.
I've come to realize I much prefer maple necks on Fenders. I don't know why, it just seems like a better feel for those necks. Kind of a slightly brassier tone.

Very nice. Felt the same way when I got my wine red Les Paul a few months back.
I still sleep with it

I will tell you exactly why for me. I can NOT make a valid argument against rosewood fingerboards. Maple just looks better. So many awesome guitarists have played them. Maple board and that color guitar is what I saw Eric Clapton in a mid late 2000's youtube video playing. Thought it looked cool as hell, and the MIM 50s model is financially feasible. So here we are. There is really no other reason.
The only research I did was actually putting a Jimmy Vaughn Tex Mex strat in my hand to make sure I wouldnt hate a "Soft-V" neck. That was it.

I have an '09 strat with a maple neck and a '63 strat with a dark wood neck (I think it's ebony, not 100% sure). They sound completely different. The '63 has that SRV tone which is nice but not really bright enough for my particular uses. If I have those two sitting side by side I'll always tend to pick up the '09 first.
I need to get some work done on the old one and maybe that will change my feeling about it. We'll see.

I have NEVER seen a output jack flipped like that. Who did you by this from? Nevertheless beautiful guitar. Congrats

Some guys will flip that cup to keep a loose dangling tremolo bar from getting caught up in or behind the protruding cable. The higher-sitting cable tip provides a "stop" for the bar before it gets trapped up. Here's a notable example - Randy Rhoads' strat he used for studio work. Note also that the selector blade is swapped for three mini-toggles, allowing pickup combos you can't get with a three- or five-way strat blade.

That thing is fricking beautiful man. Enjoy the hell out of it.
I love the color.
I went with Antique Olive and a rosewood fret for my new Strat a couple months ago.
First legit high end guitar I've ever bought. And it was brand new. Took me 6 months to find it.

Like the old rotary phones that hung from the walls in the 70’s-80’s?
Does sound nice for a guitar, and made better by rosewood board.

I have no idea why my brain typed rosewood. It's maple, and I love it. My other guitars are all rosewood. It's the first maple fret I bought and it's the best sounding guitar I've ever owned. I can't explain why I loved the color so much but when I picked it up I was hooked.:
