I used to listen to 92.3 WCKW out of Laplace many years ago when I was in BR, and it rocked pretty good.
Wikipedia indicates it's had about 27 format and name changes since then. Now country. Oh, well.

Yes and before that it was WLSU. Then they found out that another station somewhere had that callsign so they changed it to WPRG. The PRG supposedly meant progressive. When I was at school ('76-'81) it was the only station I listened to.

yes klsu, and wbrh are pretty good. wbrh sucks at some times though. klsu is made for stoners i feel like, but great divers eselection. 93.3, 94.1, 103.3 , 98.1 and some country. 102.5 plays the same shite
