I like Chelsea’s Live a lot, but they don’t get even half the same level of touring bands that the Spanish Moon used to get. They’re an absolute joke compared to the Varsity’s normal calendar.
I think what happened is a lot of bands used to play New Orleans AND Baton Rouge on tour, and now play just New Orleans or skip both entirely.

Shreveport Bossier used to/still sometimes gets some good ones. But I agree How is Turnpike gonna have a tour and not play Shreve/BC? I think they played nola way back but still.
