Listened to to it for the first time in a while. Linkin Park made a very solid album from start to finish.

There's Nickleback and then right behind them there is Papa Roach and Linkin Park.

It's one of the best debut albums of all time.

Lateralus is the best rock album of the 21st Century.

(2001)
1. Man in the box
2. Them Bones
3. Rooster
4. Angry Chair
5. Would?
6. No Excuses
7. I Stay Away
8. Grind
9. Heaven Beside You
10. Again
Liked the Chocolate Starfish too.
Someday '00s rock will be 'classic rock' and it will be interesting to see how history treats it.
Didn't come to diss. Just wondering what the Millennial version of The Beatles, Eagles, Van Halen, will be in 20 years when you own the music.

The Beatles, Eagles and Van Halen will all still be better than 00s music.
Music has gotten progressively worse though. In the 90s we had AIC, Pearl jam, Nirvana, Blues Traveler, and Soundgarden etc...
After 2000 it's like a brick wall. I googled for 10 minutes bands that I could put in that category and all I got was Black Keys. There are a lot of good singles from 2000 on, but not many bands/singers that have the same quality.
* Exception is I think pop and rap music have gotten better, but I avoid that shite like the plague anyway.

Foo Fighters, RHCP, White Stripes, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Disturbed all huge in the 2000s.

Stripes- A case could be made. Just as talentented as anything in the 90s.
Linkin Park- ScreamO bullshite that was made to hurt ears.
Slipknot- A joke of a band. Horrible.
Disturbed- Awful music, attempted to make 90s music more hardcore and failed

So you're saying your personal opinion holds more weight than the millions of people who bought albums and concert tickets from those bands?
