Is Avril Lavigne underrated?

I like a number of her songs and in listening to more of her library, I realized that some of Taylor Swift's post-country pop seems to have been influenced by her sound.
Is she underrated or does she receive her due?

She seems pretty fairly rated, her early stuff is definitely her best work but some of her newer songs were solid. Unfortunately for her while she came out at the right time it was also not long after that she'd get overshadowed by the like of Amy Lee and Hayley Williams who are objectively just more talented singers than her.
No disrespect to Avril because Amy and Hayley are probably two of the most talented woman rock singers to come out post 2000.

She seems properly rated, imo. Her best hits were written when she was with Deryk from Sum 41.
