Those were the days…listening to live music before the stinking videos came along. These bring back many great memories of my brother and I and our buddies staying up and rocking to these and more.
Cheap Trick
Heart
Little Feat
Ted Nugent
Billy Preston
Steely Dan

Smoked a few joints back then while watching the show. Good times. Really, at the time it was one of the only shows that featured rock music on tv (Shindig, Hullabaloo, etc, aside).

Youre an old frick.........and yea, I remember wolfman jack.....we were always disappointed when they would play a Queen video instead of them being live.

I do. Used to listen to it on KNOE in Monroe. Great music.

Think it was played on KMBQ in S'port...
Great station back in the day. Used to also play full album sides one night a week.
Strangely enough, KMBQ is now in Wasilla AK, playing easy listening or something lame.

It was. It played in Monroe before they picked it up. I listened to it on both according to which station came in best.

Heart was and still is one of my favorite bands to ever see live. I saw them when I was in high school when Brigade came out in the early 90s... Didn't realize how badass they were for so long until I got some of their "best of" CDs in college.
Anne Wilson is like Elvis... Yes - She's gained weight over time, but her voice has gotten better and better. I think she could disintegrate a microphone if she gave it all she could.
Just for fun: "Crazy on You" Live from 2002

Wow!! Really does bring back memories.
I guess as a teen , i prolly didn't appreciate what I was seeing.
The Wilson sisters... Ann was actually pretty attractive back then. and Nancy's now famous signature leg kick.
Stevie Nicks still makes me tingle.
ETA: now i won't get anything done today. I'll be watching these videos.

Frampton was cool. I remember seeing him in S'port at the Hirsch. I think it was in '77. Saw Cheap Trick there and also ELO with their amazing laser light show. Man, the memories at the Hirsch.

Frampton 77 in the BR Centriplex was my first live concert. The "I'm in You" tour.

I use to only be able to watch it if my folks were both in bed, then I'd sneak down and turn on the tv real low so that they wouldn't hear it. They didn't want me being corrupted by rock and roll.
