Notice I didn't state album's name in title, people wouldn't have clicked
I'm speaking of Tesla's, Great Radio Controversy. I've always felt it was one of the more underrated albums of its time. Every song in there is a good song, some great.
Hang Tough
Lady Luck
Be A Man
Did it for the Money
Making Magic
The Way it is
Love Song
Party's Over
Those are some of my favorites off the album. My favorite Tesla song all together is Freedom Slaves, also has my favorite guitar solo in that song but unfortunately isn't on this album.

it's a very good record. the only song that I dislike on it is 'Heaven's Trail'. I still prefer 'mechanical resonance' by a little.
Saw them live on that tour & they were good. Stoned out of their minds, but put on an entertaining show. Now, I couldn't sit through an hour and a half of jeff keith's shot voice. he sounds terrible now.

Heaven's Trail is by far the weakest song on the album & they actually released it as their first single & video off the album. This is their best album by far. I saw them on this tour at the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport(too embarrassed to admit who the headliner was that night)in 1989 & they were great.

Tesla is one of the most underrated hair metal bands out there. Their debut Mechanical Resonance is great as well.

I don't like acoustic sets. But Five man Acoustical jam is another strong record from them. They never relied on image for any of their success. Just straight ahead blues based hard rock.
Frank Hannon is a helluva guitarist. When Tommy Skeoch was in the band, they had different styles, but they worked great together.

Hannon is one of my favorites, definitely top 5 on my list.

When I first moved into my apartment at SLU, I was converting from cassettes to cd's and I only had three: this, Rush-Moving Pictures, and The Cult-Sonic Temple. Needless to say, I played the hell out of it.

The "t-shirt and blue jeans band"
They tried to differentiate themselves from the hair bands.

Slight hijack....
How many hair metal bands could have pulled that off? VERY impressive guitar for hair metal. Wonder what other bands from the era had that musicianship?

Def Leppard? I'm reaching back in my mind and seem to recall Tesla opening for them on tour.

Don't get why the guy is too ashamed/insecure to admit it. But Poison puts on a good live show.

I watched Poison after their prime. It was in 2000, Poison, Cinderella (awesome btw) Dokken (sucked) and Slaughter. Poison was a good show
